Royal Caribbean's shipbuilding pipeline is now filled with confirmed vessels through 2030. Hero of the Seas, the fourth Icon Class ship, is set to debut in late 2027 and will carry nine pools, the line's largest swim-up bar at sea, and an Orleans Parish Supper Club entertainment-dining concept. A fifth unnamed Icon Class vessel is also on order at Meyer Turku with delivery expected in 2028, and a seventh Oasis Class ship is under construction at Chantiers de l'Atlantique, also targeting 2028 delivery.
The confirmed pipeline sits alongside the already-announced Discovery Class, which adds two more ships arriving in 2029, with options for four further vessels. Taken together, Royal Caribbean has at least seven new ships confirmed between now and 2032, ranging from the smaller destination-focused Discovery Class to the enormous Icon Class. The fourth Icon Class ship will sail seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries from Miami, stopping at Perfect Day at CocoCay on every sailing.
For passengers planning ahead, this means Royal Caribbean will be introducing a new ship roughly every six to twelve months through 2030, which historically creates introductory pricing periods and promotional stateroom categories on both the new vessel and the ships it displaces within the fleet.
