01Overview

Royal Radar LLC (“Royal Radar,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Royal Radar website and price-tracking service at royalradar.app (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to this Policy.

Royal Radar watches publicly available Royal Caribbean Cruise Planner prices and alerts you when they change. We never ask for, store, or access your Royal Caribbean account, password, or reservation number. We only use the ship and sail date you give us to look up public Cruise Planner inventory for your sailing.

02Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information. Your name and email address, and a securely hashed password if you sign up with email. We do not store your password in readable form.
  • Google sign-in information. If you choose “Continue with Google,” we receive basic Google profile data. See Google user data below.
  • Billing information. Paid plans are processed by Stripe. We store your plan, subscription status, and billing history. We do not store your full card number — card details are handled directly by Stripe.
  • Content you create. The sailings, ships, and sail dates you track, the Cruise Planner items you watch, saved folders and notes, and — for travel-agent accounts — client folders and the invitations you send.
  • Usage and device data. IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and similar analytics, collected through cookies and similar technologies. See Cookies and tracking.
  • Communications. Messages you send us (for example, support emails) and your email preferences.

03Google user data

When you sign in or link your account with “Continue with Google,” Royal Radar requests only Google’s basic sign-in scopes. We disclose our handling of Google user data as follows:

Data accessed
Your basic Google profile only: your name, email address, profile picture, and Google account identifier. We do not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Contacts, or any other restricted or sensitive Google data.
How we use it
Solely to create and authenticate your Royal Radar account, to populate your profile (name and email), and to let you sign in. We do not use Google user data for advertising or for any purpose unrelated to providing the sign-in feature.
How we share it
We do not sell Google user data and we do not share it with third parties except our authentication provider (Supabase), which stores it on our behalf so you can log in. We do not transfer Google user data to advertising or marketing partners.
How we store and protect it
Google user data is stored within our Supabase authentication database, encrypted in transit and at rest, and protected by access controls. See Data security.
Retention and deletion
We retain Google user data for as long as your account is active. You can unlink Google at any time in Settings → Security, revoke Royal Radar’s access from your Google Account permissions, or delete your account by emailing hello@royalradar.app. Deleting your account removes this data.

Royal Radar’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

04How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and operate the Service and your account.
  • Track Cruise Planner prices and send you the alerts and reports you sign up for.
  • Process payments, manage subscriptions, and prevent fraud.
  • Respond to your support requests and communicate with you about the Service.
  • Analyze usage to understand, improve, and develop features.
  • Send marketing and promotional messages where permitted. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.
  • Protect the security and integrity of the Service, and comply with legal obligations.

05Cookies and tracking

We and our partners use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:

  • Essential. Required to sign you in, keep your session active, and protect against bots (Cloudflare Turnstile). These cannot be turned off.
  • Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how the Service is used so we can improve it.
  • Advertising. We use the Meta Pixel and similar tools to measure marketing and show relevant ads on third-party platforms. This may involve sharing limited usage data with advertising partners.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on, and manage ad preferences through your Meta and device settings. We also honor recognized opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC) where required.

06How we share information

We share personal information only as described below. We do not sell your personal information for money.

  • Service providers (subprocessors). Companies that help us run the Service, including Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payments), Mailgun (email), Vercel (hosting), Cloudflare (bot protection), and Apify (cruise-price scraping infrastructure, which processes public Royal Caribbean data, not your personal account data).
  • Advertising and marketing partners. We may share limited usage and device data (such as via the Meta Pixel) with advertising partners to measure and deliver marketing. Under some laws this is considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. We never share Google user data for this purpose.
  • Legal and safety. When required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Royal Radar, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you of any change.

07Data retention

We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. After you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information, except where we must retain it to comply with legal, tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention obligations or to resolve disputes.

08Data security

We use technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you as required by law.

09Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to opt out of marketing, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for targeted advertising.

You may request access to or deletion of your personal information, correct inaccurate information, and opt out of sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
