Terms of service
These terms govern your use of Royal Radar. Royal Radar is an independent price-tracking tool — we’re not affiliated with Royal Caribbean, and we never touch your cruise-line account.
Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Royal Radar LLC (“Royal Radar,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and govern your use of the Royal Radar website and price-tracking service at royalradar.app (the “Service”).
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old to use Royal Radar.
What Royal Radar is
Royal Radar is an independent price-tracking and alert tool. We monitor publicly available Royal Caribbean Cruise Planner prices for the sailings you choose and notify you when prices change. Royal Radar is not a travel agency, tour operator, or booking platform, and we do not sell cruises, add-ons, or travel. All purchases are made directly with Royal Caribbean or your own travel provider.
Not affiliated with Royal Caribbean
Royal Radar is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected to Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. or any of its brands. “Royal Caribbean,” “Cruise Planner,” and related names and logos are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and descriptive purposes only. We do not access your Royal Caribbean account, password, or reservation, and we only use the ship and sail date you provide to look up public Cruise Planner inventory.
Eligibility and your account
- You must be 18 or older and able to form a binding contract.
- You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at hello@royalradar.app of any unauthorized use.
- Accounts are for a single person. Do not share, sell, or transfer your account.
Subscriptions, billing, and renewals
Royal Radar offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed through our payment processor, Stripe, on a recurring basis (monthly or annual, as you select).
- Authorization. By starting a paid plan, you authorize us and Stripe to charge your payment method the applicable fees, plus any taxes, on a recurring basis until you cancel.
- Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current rate, unless you cancel before renewal.
- Price changes. We may change subscription prices. We will give you advance notice, and changes apply to your next billing period.
Free trials
We may offer a free trial on a paid plan to new subscribers. The trial length is shown when you sign up, and a valid payment method is required to start a trial.
- Automatic conversion. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription automatically converts to a paid plan and your payment method is charged the applicable fee at the end of the trial.
- Cancelling during a trial. You can cancel at any time before the trial ends from your account settings to avoid being charged. If you cancel during the trial, your access continues until the trial period ends.
- Eligibility. Free trials are limited to one per customer and are offered at our discretion. We may modify or withdraw a trial offer at any time. In-app upgrades and plan changes are charged immediately and are not eligible for a trial.
Cancellations and refunds
All fees are non-refundable and non-prorated. To avoid being charged for the next billing period, you must cancel at least 48 hours before your renewal date. Once a renewal has been charged, that charge is final and will not be refunded.
You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — your plan stays active, and you keep access, until that period ends. We do not provide refunds or credits for partial periods, unused time, or downgrades, except where required by law.
Acceptable use
The Service is licensed for your own use. You agree that you will not:
- Scrape, harvest, copy, resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit data from the Service, except as expressly permitted for travel-agent accounts serving their own clients.
- Access the Service through automated means, or interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure (including our alerting and scraping systems).
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except where this restriction is prohibited by law.
- Circumvent usage limits, security, or authentication, or access another user’s account or data.
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any third party’s rights or terms.
Price data and accuracy
Royal Radar gathers prices from publicly available Cruise Planner data on a periodic basis. We work hard to be accurate, but you acknowledge that:
- Prices change frequently and our data may be delayed, incomplete, or out of date.
- A price shown in Royal Radar may differ from the price Royal Caribbean offers at any given moment, and a tracked deal may not be available or bookable.
- Royal Radar does not guarantee any savings, availability, or outcome, and nothing in the Service is financial or travel advice.
Always verify the current price and terms directly with Royal Caribbean before making a purchase. You are solely responsible for your booking decisions.
Travel-agent accounts
Travel-agent plans let you track sailings and organize coverage for your own clients. If you use an agent account, you are responsible for your clients and for any client information you add to the Service. You represent that you have the right to use that information, that you will use the Service in compliance with applicable laws and your professional obligations, and that you will not misrepresent Royal Radar data to clients.
Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, and the Royal Radar name and logo, is owned by Royal Radar LLC and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use them without obligation to you.
Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers (such as Stripe for payments and Google for optional sign-in) and may link to third-party sites. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.
Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT THE DATA IT PROVIDES WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ROYAL RADAR LLC AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THESE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Royal Radar LLC from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or create risk or legal exposure for us. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — will survive.
Changes to the service and terms
We may modify or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time. We may also update these Terms; when we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
