Legend of the Seas, Royal Caribbean's third Icon-class ship, is currently sailing its final Western Mediterranean rounds out of Barcelona and Rome before a 13-night transatlantic crossing departing October 25, 2026. After that repositioning voyage, her first sailing from Fort Lauderdale is scheduled for November 11, 2026. The ship will then alternate between six-night Western Caribbean and eight-night Southern Caribbean itineraries, both including Perfect Day at CocoCay.
The 2026-built Legend of the Seas is Royal Caribbean's third Icon-class vessel, delivered in June and inaugurated in July 2026. Onboard highlights include the largest waterpark at sea, Crown's Edge, seven pools, mini golf, and a record-breaking 28 dining venues. Passengers who sailed the ship in Europe have been flooding social media with reviews, keeping the ship among the most-discussed topics in cruise communities heading into its North American debut.
The line has also confirmed that a production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory will be one of the Broadway-caliber entertainment options sailing with the ship as it heads to the Caribbean. With two Icon-class siblings already dominating the top spots on most Caribbean pricing charts, a third ship joining the Miami-area market this fall will give deal hunters more choices and could soften pricing on the existing fleet.
