Royal Caribbean is revealing its seven-night Caribbean itineraries for May through September 2028 this week, giving deal hunters their earliest shot at locking in summer sailings nearly two years out. The release covers only a first wave of summer sailings, specifically voyages of seven nights or longer between May and September 2028, and does not represent Royal Caribbean's full 2028 Caribbean schedule.
Short Caribbean sailings and Caribbean winter itineraries of seven-plus nights will not be released until 2027. The timing matters for price-conscious cruisers because opening deployments typically offer the widest cabin availability at base fares before demand narrows choices. Royal Caribbean's Black Friday sale is also slated to start this week, adding a second reason to keep a close eye on pricing across the fleet.
Legend of the Seas will also make her grand North American debut this week after her inaugural season in Europe, a first for any Icon Class ship. The ship is expected to arrive in South Florida on November 7 after a 13-night transatlantic cruise from Barcelona, Spain. That arrival means Icon-class capacity is now split across two American homeports for the first time.
